Tax collector: ‘Class differences.. should be abolished!’
“And why are there fawareq tabaqiyya (class differences) between the (tax) collector and the minister?” shouted one of the Minya real estate tax collectors during a meeting with his colleagues to discuss the formation of an independent trade union. “They should be abolished!”
