• جريدة البديل – حسام شحاتة بعد الافراج عنه: قضيت أسبوعين في «أمن الدولة» وأنا معصوب العينين

  • قال شحاتة إنه توجه يوم الثلاثاء 10 فبراير إلي مكتب النائب العام لتقديم بلاغ ضد أمن الدولة بعد تفتيش منزله والبحث عنه تمهيدا لاعتقاله وإن النائب العام المساعد طلب منه التوجه إلي نيابة جنوب القاهرة للتحقيق في الواقعة ولكنه فوجئ بمجرد نزوله بعدد من رجال الأمن أحاطوا به واركبوه سيارة ميكروباص وتم عصب عينيه لعدم معرفة مكان توجهه وأوضح أنه اكتشف تواجده في مقر مباحث أمن الدولة بمدينة نصر عن طريق «علبة كشري مكتوب عليها «الحي السادس»

    وأفرجت مباحث أمن الدولة، أمس، عن مروان أحمد رزق، الموظف بشركة أوراسكوم للإنشاءات، وزوج شقيقته ناصر أحمد القناديلي، المحامي بالاستئناف بعد اعتقالهما لمدة 8 ساعات إثر مكالمة هاتفية من فتاة رفضت ذكر اسمها ، وقالت إنها شاهدت مروان وناصر يلقيان عبوة ناسفة في منطقة الحسين وقت الانفجار. وكشفت مصادر أمنية مطلعة أن صاحبة البلاغ الهاتفي هي خطيبة مروان السابقة، وأنها اتصلت بالشرطة انتقاما منه

Diigo fever

Nice collective work… Comrade Hamama from Mansoura wrote a Diigo Firefox tutorial in English, which Gohary translated into Arabic. Already others like Comrade Osama installed the daily blog posting function. More Diigo groups have been launched to pool in resources and updates on police torture in Egypt and Web 2.0 tools for revolutionary bloggers…
I installed on the right side bar of 3arabawy widgets for my Diigo tags, last 10 entries from my bookmarks, and the last 15 bookmarks from the Egyptian Workers Diigo group..

Delicious is still an important social network, even when it’s not as advanced as Diigo, so I recommend to use the cross posting function available on Diigo, which allows your bookmarks to appear on Delicious as soon as they are bookmarked on Diigo..

Blog blues..

Shabab I need some help and advise here..

After moving the blog to new host, it collapses at least three times a day giving the following error message:

500 Server Error
A misconfiguration on the server caused a hiccup. Check the server logs, fix the problem, then try again. URL: http://arabist.net/arabawy/

After doing some research, we discovered that the following file for some reason gets re-written, changing its content: “.htaccess”

Each time the blog collapses, I have to fix it manually, restoring the file to its original format through FTP..

Does anyone know why this file is getting screwed up?

إضرابات ..واعتصامات..ومظاهرات ..التحركات شملت خلال الشهرين الماضيين عمال ومهنيين..فشاهدنا إضرابات عامة للصيادلة والمحامين.وسائقي المقطورات .ومساعي لتشكيل نقابات..واتحادات..ووصلت الاحتجاجات إلى العصب الحساس في جهاز الدولة كالسكة الحديد. ما الفرق بين هذه التحركات الواسعة التي شاهدناها الفترة الماضية من زاوية أهميتها وكذا من زاوية المصالح الاجتماعية التي عبرت عنها؟ كيف نشارك فى دعمها ولكن بوعي؟ وكيف سيؤثر انتصار قطاعين مهيمن في فرض مطالبهم على الدولة فى كافات القطاعات العمالية ؟
