If the Saudis can inspire Obama, then why can’t they inspire Hosni?

The Mubarak’s regime (routinely championed by the Western press, pimplomats, and DC pundits as “secular”) has sent out its police troops in Aswan to hunt down those who dared to publicly break the Ramadan fast during daytime.

What is the difference between the police and the Gamaa Islamiya? Or has Habib el-Adly changed his ministry’s name to the Ministry of Motawa3een?
