Hmhmhm…

I went for a two hour walk in my neighborhood this evening, and just some random observations:
1- A TukTuk in Abbas el-Akkad Street! It’s the first time I spot a TukTuk in Nasr City seriously.
2- The barber shop, where I used to get my hair cut as a teenager, has closed down and now there’s a Xerox store in its place.
3- The local authorities have demolished a big number of cigarette kiosks in Nasr City’s 1st District. I spotted at least seven around my house alone that were destroyed–all to enforce the monopolies of big supermarket chains.
