VIDEOS – Army, police crack down on Tahrir sit-in الجيش والأمن المركزي يهاجمون المعتصمين وأهالي الشهداء بالتحرير

On the first day of Ramadan, the army and police are now cracking down on the Tahrir sit-in, randomly arresting activists and members of families of the martyrs, tearing down the tents, firing live ammunition into the air.

UPDATE: In the video below, the Muslim Brotherhood declare their support for the police and army’s move against protesters in Tahrir… What a disgrace!

UPDATE: Check out these sets of pix by Maggie Osama and Nora Shalaby. Interesting to see a new breed of thugs, in plainclothes but wearing official army and police helmets with bullet proof vests…

Who are these people?

UPDATE: Also of course, Brigadier General Mamdouh Abbas of the military police was also there.

Whenever this guy appear, troubles always follow.
