   The police officer, Vasilis Saraliotis, found guilty of aiding and abetting murder of Alexandros Grigoropoulos and subsequent cover up attempt was released this week from prison after serving less than one year of a ten year sentence. It was this kind of contempt for the law that sparked off the December 2008 riots in the first place.
