The almighty Israeli spies

When students and workers took to the streets in Alexandria, November 1968, denouncing the Nasserist regime, the state-run media announced the arrest of Israeli spies who were involved in the agitation for the protests (Arab Report and Record, 1-15 December 1968: 399).

My mother, who took part in the 1971-2 student protests against Sadat, recalls how the Central Security Forces were beating them with sticks while denouncing the students as “Israeli agents.”

During the 18 day uprising, a young woman journalist appeared on TV “confessing” she was trained by the Mossad to foment those “riots” in Tahrir. And of course it turned out to be a big lie.

And now, the government has announced it caught another Israeli spy gathering information about the protests and fomented chaos with the intent “of harming political, economic and social interests and negatively impacting the course of the revolution”… and “prosecutors suspect he paid protesters to cause friction with the military and to foment Muslim-Christian tensions.”

Seriously what a soap opera.

By this latest case, the Mukhabarrat is trying to pull together a cheap move, so that any public criticism against the military would be depicted immediately as the work of Israeli spies. More importantly, the Mukhabarrat is trying to convince the public it’s a vital agency, in charge of protecting the country from any “foreign plots”, so as not to receive the same treatment as State Security Police.

The Mukhabrrat is hardly any different from SS. It’s been involved in renditions and torture, spying on Egyptians abroad, coordinating dirty operations with the CIA and Mossad. Do Israelis have spies in Egypt? Of course. And the biggest two spies are Mubarak and Omar Suleiman. One is enjoying a five star treatment in Sharm el-Sheikh, and the other seems to be getting away with his crimes, and possibly even run for presidency!

Dear Mukhabarrat, stop treating us like children. Who the hell is this Israeli super agent who will single handedly go around fomenting protests, agitating against the army in the streets and mosques? Get a life, grow up….

Libya, the revolution hijacked

This is catastrophic. The biggest imperialist force on the planet, NATO, is bombing Libya “in the name of revolution,” CIA operatives are active on the ground, Western “military advisers” become visible in Benghazi, as US and Egyptian military specialists are reported by Al-Jazeera to be training the revolutionaries.

The Libyan revolution is being hijacked in front of our eyes…

CIA trains Palestinian torturers

The Butcher of Palestine دايتون جزار فلسطين

From the Guardian…

Palestinian security agents who have been detaining and allegedly torturing supporters of the Islamist organisation Hamas in the West Bank have been working closely with the CIA, the Guardian has learned.
Less than a year after Barack Obama signed an executive order that prohibited torture and provided for the lawful interrogation of detainees in US custody, evidence is emerging the CIA is co-operating with security agents whose continuing use of torture has been widely documented by human rights groups.
The relationship between the CIA and the two Palestinian agencies involved – Preventive Security Organisation (PSO) and General Intelligence Service (GI) – is said by some western diplomats and other officials in the region to be so close that the American agency appears to be supervising the Palestinians’ work.
One senior western official said: “The [Central Intelligence] Agency consider them as their property, those two Palestinian services.” A diplomatic source added that US influence over the agencies was so great they could be considered “an advanced arm of the war on terror”.

Tales of Stupidity: When Hareedi met Joe Blow

Tags: | | | |

US presidents and the DC “pundits” always cite Mubarak’s torturers as “valuable assets,” “allies,” “with great experience in fighting terror,” etc… These are cliches repeated by Mubarak’s supporters in DC. Lots is written about how our Mukhabarrat, who might be brutes, but have some “unique experience” in interrogations, and understanding of the different Islamist groups. The CIA and MI5 send their pimps to Egypt for training and learning from that “unique experience.”

Any five year old in Egypt probably knows those descriptions above are laughable. Part of it is Mubarak’s ability to market himself in the West, and the second has to do with the stupidity of the Western security services. I’m sure the Mukhabarrat officials could impress easily their CIA counterparts by just being able to pronounce the Arabic names of suspects and organizations correctly… I mean, after all it’s Hareedi Mohamadein sitting talking to Joe Suckondicks Blow. The two in general would have the same low IQ, but the former would be able to say “Iraq” not “I-Rak,” “Al-Qa3da” not “Al-Kaaaaayda”.. These things do make a difference for the simple mind of Mr. Blow…

Joe Blow: WoooooW! Colonel Hareedi, you know a lot!
Hareedi: Of course ya Khawaga! Mubarak and his men are at your service all za time.

And here comes the show-me-da-money part…

But the truth is Colonel Hareedi’s knowledge of Islamism doesn’t exceed that of the shittiest Rosal Youssef journalist, but hey as long as Colonel Hareedi can speak Arabic, somehow this has an allure and charm for their CIA masters…

So the CIA masters go ahead, fund Hareedi and his gang, give them detainees to torture and interrogate.. and Hareedi is quick to show results… results full of stupidity, incompetency like this…

Powell later called the speech a “blot” on his record, saying he was not given all available intelligence and analysis within the government. The Defense Intelligence Agency and some analysts at the CIA had questioned the veracity of Libi’s testimony, which was obtained after the prisoner was transferred to Egyptian custody for questioning by the CIA, according to Senate investigators.
In their book “Hubris: The Inside Story of Spin, Scandal, and the Selling of the Iraq War,” Michael Isikoff and David Corn said Libi made up the story about Iraqi training after he was beaten and subjected to a “mock burial” by his Egyptian interrogators, who put him in a cramped box for 17 hours. Libi recanted the story after being returned to CIA custody in 2004.

America, Keep funding Hosni and his gang.. Indeed they are valuable assets…
